Niagara County Wine Trail Favorites Tour

This historic Niagara County landmark gained a reputation 100 years ago as a haunted house and in the 20th century became a summer retreat for the Sisters of St. Joseph convent. We opened in August, 2004 as a winery featuring wines made from fruit grown in local orchards.

Resting at the base of the Niagara Escarpment in WNY, where thousands of years ago, glacial deposits created the fertile basis for our premium grapes. The moderating effects of Lake Ontario, contribute to a longer growing season and ripening vineyards

Freedom Run Winery is the creation of a legacy for the Manning family, utilizing the fruit of the land and building upon the significance of the Niagara Escarpment.
